Roll Forming

AVMY STEEL’s roll-former has the latest technology in inline punching and hard marking capabilities. It can produce the full range of lipped channels and open from 75 to 300 sections, Lengths ranging from 2000 metres to 12000 mm, thickness from 1.60 mm to 3.00 mm and punching sizes 14 mm, 18 mm & 22 mm, and a slot (18 mm x 36mm), being a fully automatic mill lead times are reduced.

Reinforcing

AVMY Steel stock a broad range of reinforcing bars, commercially known as “rebar”. These are ribbed steel rods used to reinforce concrete structures from the inside by forming a “skeleton” around which the concrete is set. Concrete requires such reinforcement because of its low tensile strength and consequent demand for a substitute tension device lest the structure collapse. AVMY Steel supplies rebar to major contractors with confidence, and also maintains the service levels required by smaller construction companies and owner- builders.
